Audra McDonald is unparalleled in the range and variety of her artistry as both a singer and an actor. Audra McDonald who has won Six Tony Awards in a row and two Grammy Awards in 2015 was listed as one of the Times magazine's 100 Most Influential People. President Barack Obama also awarded her the National Medal of Arts -- America's highest honour for achievements in this field. As a result of her soprano's luminous tone and unsurpassed gift of telling dramatic tales She has had success both on Broadway and at the opera, as well as in both film and television. McDonald was born in Fresno California to a music family, received her training in classical singing at New York's Juilliard School. The Bite is a drama with six seasons based around an epidemic, produced through Spectrum Originals & CBS Studios. The show featured her in the show with Taylor Schilling & Steven Pasquale. The year 2009 saw her debut, McDonald portrayed U.S. Attorney Liz Lawrence on CBS's drama about lawyers The Good Wife. In the year 2018, McDonald took on the role of Liz Reddick as a regular on Paramount+'s The Good Fight. She received three Critics Choice Award nods for this performance. The actress is a featured guest in HBO's The Gilded Age by Julian Fellowes.
