Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina began her career with hilarious rap tracks that tackled sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to broadening her reach to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants within Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via trumpet. She also received the classical and jazz education later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. In her studies, she majored in journalism, and women's studies at college, even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. Not until after graduation did she begin to concentrate on music.
